Very impressive monument to the destructive power of nature. Ape cave is one of the best lava tubes I've seen. The view of the mountain from the visitors' center is sobering. Spirit Lake is very impressive, full of logs still floating in it from the eruption decades ago. And the climb to the top is not to be missed, if you're up to it.
